Fractured

Summary

Ray, along with his wife Joanne and his daughter Peri drive on a road trip for Thanksgiving. Soon they stop at a small rest stop. Where the mother goes off somewhere, Peri and Jay stay behind. Out of nowhere a dog appeares. Jay, being a good dad tries to scare him away, but luck wasn`t on his side this time. Him and Peri, his daughter, fall into an open construction site and are injured. After rushing to the hospital, Joanne goes with Peri and Ray stays behind. There in the waiting room he passes out from exhaustion.  After waking up hours later, he asks the staff if he can see his injured daughter. The staff although tells him that they were never brought to the hospital. Ray begins searching for them on his own after police officers refuse to believe and help him. From this point on the movie Fractured is taking off and the mystery is on the path of being discovered.

My Review

The aura of this film is very mystery like. The actors showed little to no emotion to match the characters which was creepy at first but you get used to it. Ray was really bringing out his detective skills on his search. With no luck on his side, it took a lot of time to find them. I was feeling uneasy watching him try everything and still fail. No one could ever expect such an abrupt ending. It suffers too much to reach an ending that feels powerful but ultimately bland.  You kind of could expect what was coming next, because it was predictable. This one didn`t really make an interesting point to me. It was just there to watch and forget quickly after. Nothing spectacular and memorbale.
