Me Before You

Summary
This movie begins with its main character, Louisa Clark, losing her job at a cafe. At the same time her family is struggling with money. Finding a job in the small town, where she lives is pretty hard. Therefore she takes the best available job in her town: a care worker for a quadrilegic man named Will Traynor. He`s a former London businessman who has been seriously injured in an accident. In the beginning Will is bitter towards Louisa, which gives her the impression that he isn`t fond of her. With the time the cold attitude of Will cracks and he warms up to her. Between sharing jokes and being there for eachother they build a beautiful connection. They challenge one another. While Will encourages Louisa to follow her interests outside of her little bubble, Louisa helps Will to find the joy in life again. The rest is like a dreamy fairytale!

My Review
This movie truly touched my heart. The characters were so different yet so alike. They challanged eachother till the end, which was beautiful. It showed me that not every love story must come from the perfect background. This was far from a perfect relantionship that everyone wants you to believe. It portrayed how two halfs can build a whole. How two hearts can melt into one and be as strong as ever. Two opposite people from different worlds found eachother in the most darkest moments in their lifes and survived it togheter. I fell in love with Louisa from the first few minuets. Her clumsiness was just so adorable and may I say relatable. And there is Will, who had a cold exterior all of the time. Where Louisa was the nicest person ever Will was the opposite. I think that was, what really woke my curiosity. I personally give this movie a 9 / 10. You should definitely give it a try. I recommend some tissues too! :)

"You would have been far too busy looking at the tall blonde girls with the endless legs and the big hair, the ones who can smell an expense account at forty paces. And anyway, I wouldnt have been here. I would have been serving the drinks over there. One of the invisibles."
