Shutter Island
Summary
In 1954, Teddy Daniels arrives at a metal hospital in the Boston Harbor Islands. He believes, he has been sent to this hospital, Ashecliffe, to investigate the disapperance of a patient. Her name is Rachel. Teddy soon has a dream, where his dead wife Dolores tells him that Rachel is still here. Since he believes, that Rachel had help escaping he starts asking the other patients without any luck. Teddy soon has the information that his dead wifes killer is one of these patients. There are 66 patients in this hospital, which means that the killer is the 67th patient. His name is Andrew Laeddis. After Rachel shows up alive, he interviews her but doens`t get any useful information. Teddy dreams about his wife again and sees 3 dead bodies with another person standing near by. Since he gets migraines a lot he starts to think that Rachel has been poisoning his food for him to not find out the real truth. Things start to take a mysterious turn.

My Review
Shutter Island is a movie like no other. It was keeping me on edge the whole time. From the beginning you would think that it`s just another mytery movie, but it is far from that. A twisted psychological thriller that leaves you guessing until the very end. It was exciting to watch the cross overs this movie had. You just couldn`t look away, even if you had chills running up and down your spine. It was just a brilliantly constructed mystery. The ending was something I truly didn`t expect, but it happend. I highly recommend this movie for the people who obviously love a good twisted thriller movie.
